Is it considered “streaming” when you’re accessing your home computer from work?
At my job, we are having bandwidth issues with our internet. As a result, I’m not allowed to access any video pertaining to my job. I’m curious to find out if accessing my home computer from work is considered streaming. I figured that if I run Windows Media Player or any other video program would avoid the strain on bandwidth at work.
It won’t decrease the bandwidth at work because accessing your computer takes up bandwidth since your doing this over the network. So running video program from your home computer would actually create MORE of a strain on the bandwidth because you have to be connected to the computer and your streaming stuff over the internet. All in all get a itouch and put your movie on that.
