Are dont-get-scammed.com and type-at-home.com business scams?
My dad is a very gullible person and he has been looking into ways to make money online. He has been checking into paid surveys, which to me seems to be a scam. He currently receives newsletters from dont-get-scammed.com and type-at-home.com. Do these sites have any credibility or are they just one big scam?
Actually I’m not sure in terms of what you are talking about but I work for a financial company that has an aspect of MLM and is very very regulated and is not a scam, I know this is not your question but I want to point something out to you. Although I’m not familiar with what you are talking about, I do know there are other types of legit business systems out there that may not resemble a traditional job and of course most people are so employee minded that they are ready to fire off all the cliche’s like “If it’s too good to be true”. Trust me I recruit for my company and people live by this blanket mentality. There is nothing wrong with this as it is a defense mechanism. Most people just haven’t experienced any thing out side of working a job so they DON’T KNOW and assume and spit out the conditioned cliche’s.
Now having said this very few opportunities out there are legit. you may want to buddy up with your dad and take a good look at the opportunities he is looking at and use your best judgment to determine if it is legit. I’m only talking about looking at this from a perspective I have learned and I am not defending any thing that is a scam but just have a realistic criteria to judge from and not the assumptions and cliche’s people are conditioned to react with.
