Internet Work From Home – Steps to Increasing Your Income
In our current economic climate, more and more individuals are openly asking how they can be successful in increasing their income, in particular with the Internet. Both conventional and Internet work from home ventures are proven ways to generate income quickly with low startup cost. The lowest cost conventional businesses are usually MLM based ventures, whereas other low cost options are available on the Internet, based on Internet marketing. In this article we focus mainly on Internet work from home options for increasing your income.
Using Internet marketing as a basis, a number of options are available, including setting up an online store, Ebay selling, and affiliate programs. Internet marketers have been successful for years with each and many now are selling, or even giving away ebooks and courseware to help others in getting these types of businesses started quickly. An additional option that is somewhat new is combining Internet marketing with traditional MLM.
Internet marketing options include two main methods: paid and search engine optimation (free). We will consider only the organic search engine optimization way to increasing your income, since much less expense is involved. What steps are needed to successfully use the Internet in an advertising campaign? Here are the steps usually agreed on by most Internet marketers:
- Establish a Blog – A WordPress blog is now the most highly recommended way to achieving organic search engine rankings. Your blog should relate to your main areas of interest and expertise, which should flow naturally out of ideas that relate to your primary business concerns. Your blog should define your niche area of business expertise.
- Advertise your Blog – This step involves adding content from your blog to related online directories, and publishing in as many venues as possible. Well known business networking expert, Dr. Ivan Misner, describes this step as a 2% solution. What he means is that, doing this step will place your business in the top 2% of your discipline, mainly since so few actually will do it.
- Generate leads – By using an offer on your blog, or a link to one or more websites including a valuable offer, build a list of “subscribers.” Your offer can be an ebook, a video course, or something else of value. The key is to over-deliver content at this point, meaning that your efforts are a real benefit to those that elect to “follow” you. Thus you attain “attraction marketing” at this point. Or in affiliate marketing, your subscribers would be presented links to websites to purchase product at this point and the next step would not be needed.
- Monetize your subscriber list – In the beginning, break the ice with a small commitment, such as a $1 trial offer described below, but your “system” should contain other offers of greater cost once you have proven that you truly deliver value in your beginning offers. If you are involved with network marketing, you can introduce those with similar interests to your MLM business eventually. You may find them “attracted” spontaneously to your main business venture. This step is often referred to as a “funded proposal,” which will solve the money shortage issue commonly faced by MLM distributors.
In our particular case, the offer from the main blog is a $1 per day trial in complete attraction marketing system supporting any MLM business.
