Is a web-based MBA program as meaningful as a standard MBA program?
It seems that an internet MBA program would not carry as much weight as a standard MBA program in the job market. Is this true? I suppose on your resume you need only state the school and not specify “Internet-based”, correct? How much difference in these programs is there in the market?
I think that is going to depend on the school.
If you go with an Internet only school, it is probably going to be known among employers as an internet only school regardless of what your resume says or what is on the diploma.
There are brand name schools that offer online MBA programs. I believe that Duke University is one of them. Go for a bricks and clicks school and it will not make one bit of difference whatsoever.
